JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Barback / Glassware Support


Description: Responsible for collecting and cleaning glassware, restocking supplies, and supporting bartenders to ensure smooth bar operations. 

Responsibilties: 

  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times
  • Collecting all the empty glasses and bottles from the customers' tables and returning them to the bar in a timely fashion. 
  • Clearing dirty plates and cutlery from customers' tables and returning them to kitchen dish areas.
  • Making sure that bartenders have everything they need (like glasses, garnishes, stocked fridges, changing kegs) at all times.
  • Loading glasswashers and polishing glassware
  • Restocking glassware on the bar
  • Sweeping/Mopping spillages and breakages on the floor
  • Wiping down tables and the bar
  • Refilling ice wells
  • Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the hotel

 

Entry level position that with the right attitude can open up to a bartending role in the future.
